Part 4 (Weeks #4-5)

Lesson Objectives

  1. Students will understand how ancient structures are made up of pyramids and prisms. 

  2. Students will create net sketches of right rectangular prisms, right rectangular pyramids, cubes, triangular pyramids, and triangular prisms. 

  3. Students will determine pyramid and prism dimensions based on given parameters. 

  4. Students will find the surface areas of right rectangular prisms, right rectangular pyramids, cubes, triangular pyramids, and triangular prisms. 

  5. Students will find the volumes of right rectangular prisms, right rectangular pyramids, cubes, and triangular pyramids.
